How much does a website cost in Brisbane?
For a Brisbane tradie, a WebGecko website costs $1,800 for one page, $2,490 for four to six pages, or $3,890 for seven pages or an online shop. This guide covers what changes the price, what you pay after launch and how to compare quotes.
$1,800 to $3,890fixed before work starts

One fixed price to build it.
The same figures as the quote form, fixed before any work starts. Ongoing care is a separate monthly plan from $800.
- One to three pages
- Your licence number on every page
- Contact form and tap to call
- Four to six pages
- A page per service or suburb
- Everything in One page
- Seven pages or more, or an online shop
- Everything in Standard
The short answer
The build is a one-off price, fixed before any work starts:
- One page, $1,800. One to three pages: what you do, where you work, job photos and a way to call or enquire.
- Standard, $2,490. Four to six pages, so each service or suburb gets a page of its own.
- Full site or shop, $3,890. Seven pages or more, or an online shop.
Most tradies who want to be found for more than one kind of job start at Standard. A page per service is what lets Google match "deck builder Springfield" to the page about decks.
What pushes the price up
Two things move the build price: how many pages you need, and the extras you add. The contact form and tap-to-call are included in every build. These are the extras, at the same prices the quote form shows:
- Map & directions: $150
- Testimonials: $190
- Photo gallery: $240
- Menu / price list: $290
- Online booking: $390
- Google Business Profile setup: $590
Things that cost more anywhere: writing every word from scratch, a shop with many products, or a booking system tied to your calendar. If you have your own job photos and know your services and suburbs, the build stays at the base price.
What it costs after launch
A website needs hosting, security updates and backups to stay up, and someone to change it when your prices or services change. You can look after that yourself, or pay someone monthly.
WebGecko's care plans are $800 a month for Care Essentials and $1,000 a month for Care Growth. Essentials covers hosting, security, backups, daily uptime checks, 45 minutes of edits a month and missed-call rescue. Growth adds Google Business Profile posts and a review request after each paid job. Both run month to month with 30 days' notice to leave. Check the care page for any current offer.
Cheaper ways to get a website
A do-it-yourself builder costs less up front. You pay a monthly subscription and do the writing, photos, setup and search basics yourself, usually at night after work. It suits a business that has the time and enjoys it.
A cheap one-off build can work too. Ask who hosts it, who fixes it when it breaks, and whether you can take it with you if you leave. A site nobody updates stops showing your current work, and customers notice.
How to compare website quotes
Quotes are hard to compare because they leave different things out. Ask each designer:
- Is the price fixed, or an hourly estimate?
- How many pages, and which ones?
- Who writes the words, and who supplies the photos?
- Is hosting included, and what does it cost after year one?
- Who owns the website once it is paid for?
- Can you leave the monthly plan, and how much notice is needed?
- Will your licence number and service area be on every page?
WebGecko's answers are in the quote form and the service terms.
