The business
MasterEdge does a wide spread of work: decks and pergolas, fencing and gates, general carpentry, home maintenance, and commercial fit-outs for offices and medical rooms. They are based in Goodna and work across Ipswich, Brisbane and the surrounding South East Queensland suburbs.
A spread like that is hard to show on a single Facebook page. A customer wanting a fence needs to see fences, and an office manager needs to see that commercial work is part of it too.
What the website had to do
- Show the full range of work without a wall of text.
- Say where they work, so Google and customers both know: Goodna, Ipswich and Brisbane.
- Get enquiries with enough detail to price, so a callback is about the job, not twenty questions.
- Show they are licensed, with the QBCC licence on the site.
What we built
- Six service groups, each listing the actual jobs: carpentry, decking and outdoor, fencing, maintenance, commercial fit-outs and specialty work such as bollards and safety signage.
- Their own job photos in a portfolio, not stock images.
- An availability calendar from their Google Calendar, so customers can see when they are free before calling.
- A quote form that asks for the type of job, the budget and the timeline.
- Call and quote buttons at the top of the page on a phone.
- The basics for search: a page title naming Goodna and Ipswich, their business details, service area and QBCC licence marked up for search engines, and their FAQ marked up as questions and answers.
- Privacy policy, terms and an accessibility statement, with WebGecko's own cookie consent box.
After launch
WebGecko hosts the site and makes changes to it. When something needs changing, MasterEdge tells us and we make the change.
We don't publish sales or enquiry figures for client sites. The reviews and numbers on the MasterEdge site are their own. What you can judge for yourself is the site: open masteredgecarpentry.com.au on your phone and try it as a customer would.

Questions before you start
Is MasterEdge Carpentry a real WebGecko client?
Yes. WebGecko built and hosts masteredgecarpentry.com.au. It is a working business site, not one of our fictional samples.
Can I get a website like this for my trade?
Yes. The same approach works for any trade: a section per service, your suburbs, your photos and a way to get a quote. Compare the build options.
Get your fixed price.
Five minutes on the quote form, and the price is fixed before we start. WebGecko is a small studio in Forest Lake, building and looking after websites for Queensland trades and small businesses.
