Overview
AutoStarter for Autodarts ("the add-on") is a browser extension for Firefox and Google Chrome developed by WebGecko. This statement explains our data practices in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). The short version: there is nothing to explain, because we collect nothing.
The add-on runs only on play.autodarts.io. It reads your lobby page locally to detect when a second player joins and then clicks the "Start game" button for you. It requires no account, and sends no information anywhere.
What we do not collect
- No personal information (name, email, address)
- No account — there is no sign-up or login
- No browsing history or page content — nothing is read outside your Autodarts lobby
- No usage statistics or analytics
- No crash reports or telemetry
- No cookies, trackers, or third-party SDKs
- No servers — the add-on has no backend to send anything to
How the add-on works
All processing occurs entirely inside your browser. While you are in an Autodarts lobby, the add-on checks how many players are listed and, when a second player appears, clicks the "Start game" button on your behalf. This happens locally and privately — no lobby data, player names, or activity is ever transmitted or stored by WebGecko or any third party.
Settings storage
The only information the add-on stores is a single on/off preference (whether auto-start is enabled). This is saved locally on your device using the browser's built-in extension storage and never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time by removing the add-on.
Permissions we request
- Storage — used solely to remember your on/off preference
- Access to play.autodarts.io — used solely so the add-on can read your lobby page and click "Start game." It has no access to any other website

This website (webgecko.au/autostarter_autodarts) does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics. No personal information is collected from visitors to this page.
Access, correction & complaints
As we hold no personal information collected through this add-on, there is nothing to access or correct. If you have any privacy questions or concerns, contact us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this statement
If the add-on's behaviour ever changes in a way that affects this statement, we will update this page with a new date and the versions published on the Firefox Add-ons and Chrome Web Store listings. Given our zero-collection approach, we do not anticipate meaningful changes.
